Magnetic performance measuring instruments and equipment commonly used by permanent magnet product manufacturers
Permanent magnet materials are divided into sintering, bonding, casting, and others according to the processing technology. The sintered materials include ferrite, aluminum nickel cobalt, samarium cobalt and neodymium iron boron. The casting materials are aluminum nickel cobalt. The bonding processing technology can be specifically divided into rolling, extrusion, injection molding, and molding. The materials for molding include neodymium iron boron, samarium cobalt, ferrite, and samarium iron nitrogen; the materials for rolling and extrusion include ferrite and neodymium iron. Boron, samarium iron nitrogen; injection molding materials include neodymium iron boron, ferrite, samarium cobalt, samarium iron nitrogen. Other processed materials include copper-nickel-iron permanent magnet alloys, iron-cobalt-vanadium permanent magnet alloys, and iron-chromium-cobalt permanent magnet alloys.
The inspection items of permanent magnet products mainly include surface magnetism (maximum, center point, surface magnetic field distribution), magnetic flux, magnetic moment, magnetic declination and material parameters. The testing equipment for its application: the magnetic table includes Gauss meter, Tesla meter, and magnetic field distribution tester.

Multi-pole magnetic ring can be tested, and the results include the peak value, angle, area, width and half-height of each magnetic pole. Display the maximum, minimum and average value of the peak magnetic field of each pole.
The magnetic flux measuring instruments of permanent magnet products include fluxmeter, integrating coil and test fixture, and Helmholtz coil. The magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is measured by the pulling method. The Helmholtz coil is used to measure the magnetic moment of the permanent magnet. Use closed-circuit tooling to test the overall magnetic flux of the motor stator and rotor. The "pull method" is usually used when magnetic flux coils are used to detect permanent magnets. The use of magnetic flux coils for magnetized samples is intuitive and effective. It is the most classic measurement method in magnetic flux measurement. Another good measurement technique is to rotate the sample 180 degrees without taking the sample out, so that the magnetic flux voltage generated will be twice the original.

Helmholtz coil (Helmholtz) can be used to measure the magnetic flux of open-circuit samples. Remove the measured magnet from the center of the coil, the magnetic flux in the Helmholtz coil changes and the induced voltage in the coil is uploaded to the digital fluxmeter. The fluxmeter obtains the flux change through data processing to solve the problem. This solves the problem of inaccurate measurement of small samples with Hall components.
Helmholtz coil (Helmholtz) is composed of two identical thin Composed of parallel coils, the distance between the two coils is equal to the radius of the coil, and the signals of the two coils are connected in series. The frame and supporting system of the coil must be non-metallic, and the radius of the coil should be at least 2.5 times of the largest sample to be tested. This restriction can make all the samples in the uniform area of the coil. The number of turns of the coil is generally 100 turns or more. Helmholtz coils are used for magnetic flux measurement of open-circuit samples. When measuring, keep away from areas with magnetic field interference, such as other magnets, transformers, or fluorescent sources.
