The following is the H-coil magnetometer measurement method for soft magnetic materials to measure open strip rods:
1 Start the computer first, then run Direct Current Measurement of FE-2100SD Soft Magnetic MaterialsTest the software, then close the "POWER" switch on the front panel of the power chassis. The header on the front panel of the power chassis should display "0.00" and warm up for 30 minutes. The magnetometer, H coil and B coil connected.
2 Prepare the sample rod waiting for the test, measure the size and weigh it.
3 Create a new index, save as, and name the folder. Folders can be named here according to company regulations or personal preferences. The general principle is to facilitate finding archives, etc. Select "H-Coil Magnetometer" under "Type BS" and enter the parameters of the magnetometer, sample, H-coil and B- coil. N1 loses the number of turns of H coil and N2 loses the number of turns of B coil. Check the Magnetic Field Scan Method ". (only magnetic field scanning method can be selected)
4 Enter the test conditions. Hi is the starting point of the test and the minimum test step, generally taking the 1‰ of Hs. Hj is the inflection point of the test take point trend, generally ten times the size of the Hi value. Hs is the test condition and the maximum magnetic field strength during the test. dB is the step size of B, generally 3% of Bs.
5 First replace the fixture (pole shoe) of the magnetometer according to the size of the sample, then fix the sample sleeve on the B coil on the H coil, and then put it into the magnetometer to shake the fixture. Observe the reading change trend of the two magnetic flux meter heads on the software interface, then rotate the multi-turn potentiometer on the front panel of the power supply chassis respectively to make the reading of the meter head slowly stable, and then press the reset key on the front panel to make the reading of the meter head return to zero. Repeat this step if the reading in the header changes more quickly.
6 Click "Test" of the software and the system starts demagnetizing the sample. After demagnetization, the software will automatically start the test until the test is completed. During the test, abnormal states such as excessive test current may occur, and the test power supply will also give an alarm accordingly. At this time, we can operate as follows: first press the "ESC/Exit" key of the keyboard or click "Cancel" at the bottom right of the software, the software will interrupt the test, and then press the "Alarm" button of the power supply chassis to interrupt the alarm. Re-check whether it is caused by errors in parameters and conditions, or by short circuit of the test coil, and re-adjust and re-test.
7 Observe the data results, mainly observe the rationality of the curve and parameter results, and adjust the test conditions to retest if necessary. If the positive and negative values of the magnetic flux signal (green line) after the test are inconsistent, the demagnetization factor on the right side of the software header can be changed. If the positive value is larger, its value is changed to smaller. If the negative value is larger, its value is larger. Finally, save the data for future data processing or archiving.
8 Remove the sample, clean the site, and wait for the next batch of samples to be tested.
9 Ensure magnetic permeability meter, H Coiland B CoilAfter all have been removed, turn off the power of the power supply chassis, then turn off the test software, turn off the computer, and clean the site.
